Rashmi Agrata
I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the Komander lab at WEHI, Australia. I did my PhD in Ubiquitin modifications from NCBS-TIFR, India.
My current research interest involves understanding the structural-conformational-functional relationship of proteins in the ubiquitination pathway.

A dance enthusiast and an art admirer, I love mentoring!
Causes and Interest
As a scientist under training, I see a huge gap in scientists' perspectives and public understanding of the same. Poor communication within academia and with the public contributes to a lack of awareness for opportunities to grow and contribute to society.
While I continue to learn to do science, I actively seek opportunities to learn several skills or methods that could enable me to communicate science in a better way. I also like to volunteer for causes that aim to provide mentorship and address gaps in the scientific community.
